Catering Manager
Responsible To: School Business Manager
Pay Scale: Level 5, SCP 13 – 23 DOE
Working Hours: 37 hours - Monday to Thursday - 6:45AM to 2:45PM and Fridays - 6:45AM to 2:15PM
Contract Type: 39 weeks per year, Term-Time, plus 5 INSET days.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to lead our school catering service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while managing a busy kitchen environment.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the catering service, including menu planning, food preparation, stock control, and ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards. You will also lead and develop a team of catering staff, manage budgets, and help drive a cost-effective and efficient service.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a catering or kitchen environment, ideally in a supervisory role
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, and healthy eating standards
- The ability to manage budgets and maintain high service standards

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) + potential SEN allowance

Teaching & Learning Assistants - SEND Unit, Resource Base and Mainstream
Contract type: Permanent, full-time
Working hours: 32.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Term-time only, plus 5 INSET days.
Salary range: Level 3, Point 5-7 (Actual pro-rata salary £19,478.00 – £20,076.00 per annum).
