About us
The Friends of Castleview (FCS) was established in November 2012. We are a small committee made up of a group of parents from across the school who work together with the school to put on memorable events for the children and their parents/carers.
With the money raised in our first year we were able to provide the school children with a playground trim trail and safety surface over the summer holidays. This has been very popular with the children! Since then, we have installed air conditioning in the hall and provided new books for our children.
What is this year's objective? It will always be the children of Castleview! To ensure we can provide them fun, entertainment and most importantly the wonderful memories at Castleview! So with this in mind, we will continue to work closely with the school to see where additional fundraising will make a difference for our children.
Events & fundraising schemes to date:
Our popular events, Dazzling Disco and the Summer Bonanza are held annually. Bags2School collection is after each half term. We have previously had an Easter Bonnet Parade, Easter Raffle and a Copper Coin Challenge and The Giving Machine is also active.
We always welcome new members, so please come along to our next meeting.
