English

In English this week the children have been planning their non-chronological report by making notes and discussing key facts about Florence Nightingale. They began writing their report starting with a title followed by the introduction.

Maths

This week the children have continued to pictorially represent 2-digit numbers as tens and ones, they have also partitioned numbers recognising what each digit in a 2-digit number is worth and they have solved problems using their number and place value knowledge.

Homework  

Phonics-To watch the RWI videos. New links have been sent with longer words.

 

Spelling Shed-The children have been given their Spelling Shed login details which can be found in the children's reading diary.  Please complete the given assignment- Words ending in ‘ff’, ‘ll’, ‘ss’, ‘zz’ and ‘ck’.

The children can do some or all of the activities.

 

Sumdog- This week we would like the children to log into and explore Sumdog.
